"In a vivid, affecting performance, Bruce Faulk, the only cast member appearing at the Schoolhouse for the first time, imparts William's tortured conflict between brotherly loyalty and social responsibility. That evolves, but Williams's relationship with Jeff is at the play's center, and that isn't easy. Mr. Faulk effectively and understatedly communicates the consequences of caring."
